DAF’s modern and powerful PACCAR MX11 engine is a durable power unit. Maximum torque can be achieved at low engine speeds (~1000 rpm), allowing easier manoeuvring with higher loads.

Robust bumper design, high ground clearance and a maximum approach angle of 25 degrees make the DAF CF FAD concrete mixer more resistant to damage. The optional flexible step, strong lamp brackets and unbreakable Lexan glass lenses make the vehicle ideally suited to operate in extreme conditions.

The lightweight 9200 kg chassis design allows for an amazingly high payload weight. Adding a typical concrete mixer body of 3500 kg and 500 litres of water to the chassis weight, the total unladen weight is limited to a maximum of 13200 kg.
